Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolian Nature’s Legacy Foundation (MNLF) in Mongolia.
Over the past two years, we have turned our vision into action under the Eternal Mongolia Project Finance for Permanence programme, laying the essential groundwork for long-term, sustainable conservation finance. From establishing an independent conservation trust fund to disbursing our first grants and supporting protected area management, it has been an incredible and foundational journey.
A heartfelt thank you to the Government of Mongolia, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, The Nature Conservancy, Enduring Earth, our generous donors, our Board of Directors, and our Secretariat team. Most importantly, we express our deepest gratitude to the rangers, local communities, and all our national and international partners who work on the frontlines of conservation every day.
Here is to many more years of protecting Mongolia’s natural heritage together.
